The UWB Anchor VDB2613 is a positioning Anchor equipped with an explosion-proof enclosure developed by 95power. VDB2613 is equipped with an explosion-proof standard metal shell, which can be used for personnel positioning in mines, gas stations, chemical plants, and other types of explosion-proof requirements. VDB2613 is developed based on the DW1000 chip solution and is often used as a positioning Anchor in the UWB positioning system. The software uses positioning algorithms such as TDOA/TOF and cooperates with 95 power UWB tags for personnel positioning. The positioning accuracy can reach 10 cm-30 cm.
 
 
VDB2613 adopts standard POE power supply mode, which can reduce the difficulty for customers to locate on-site wiring. In addition, VDB2613 also integrates Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi and 4G (3 Netcom) functions.
 
The UWB Anchor VDB2613 internally supports SD memory cards that conform to the SD-XC (class 10) protocol, with a maximum support of 64GByte. The function of configuring the memory card is to realize offline location data storage when the network is disconnected for a long time.

The interface of UWB Anchor VDB2613 is shown in the figure below:
 
 
1. UWB Anchor
Open the shell, you can see that the upper green PCBA board is the UWB Anchor.
 
2. RJ45 network port
The network port of the UWB Anchor VDB2613 supports Category 5 and Super Category 5 cables, which can transmit data and also support POE power supply. The network port is a WAN/LAN adaptive network port, and supports LED network port lights.
 
3. DC power interface
The power interface of the UWB Anchor VDB2613 supports DC input, the input voltage range is 6-24.0V, the current is not less than 1A, the interface uses a DC power socket, the power socket has a diameter of 6.4mm, a needle diameter of 2mm, and the needle is positive.
 
4. Power indicator light (the button has a built-in light ring)
After the UWB Anchor is powered on, the LED light is always on.
 
5. Antenna
UWB, Bluetooth, WiFi, and 4G cylindrical omnidirectional high-gain antenna.
 
6. SD memory card interface
The SD card interface is reserved inside the UWB Anchor, which is compatible with SD cards that conform to the SD-XC (class10) protocol standard, and supports up to 64G expansion.
 

Application scenarios

 

The explosion-proof gateway VDB2613 mounted with UWB Anchor board is used in UWB positioning system for personnel positioning and supports TDOA positioning and TOF positioning. For details, refer to UWB Anchor VDU2503.
